Celebrating Ms. Lee, Our Beloved Building Sub and Clark Legend

Celebrating Ms. Lee, Our Beloved Building Sub and Clark Legend

Today after lunch, students and staff gathered in the auditorium to celebrate someone who means the world to the Clark community: Ms. Lee, our incredible Building Substitute.

Ms. Lee wears many hats in our building. From decorating the halls, supporting in classrooms, and filling in for absent teachers to lending a hand in the front office—she does it all. But what truly sets her apart is the way she loves and uplifts every student and staff member she meets. She knows every child’s name, and every child knows hers.

In honor of Substitute’s Appreciation Day, the Clark community surprised Ms. Lee with a joyful celebration. Students welcomed her into the auditorium with a huge cheer, and staff presented her with a special gift to show just how much she is appreciated. Several students and staff took turns at the microphone, sharing personal stories, memories, and messages of thanks for the care, support, and positivity Ms. Lee brings to our school each day.

Ms. Lee has been a part of Clark for over 20 years, and her impact spans generations—many of the students she supports today are the children of students she once taught. She is truly a Clark legend, and today’s celebration was just a small reflection of the love and respect the entire school has for her.

Thank you, Ms. Lee, for everything you do. Clark would not be the same without you.
